Guofang Li(李國芳)是加拿大跨國/全球化視角下兒童及青少年語言與語言素質教育方向首席科學家,加拿大不列顛哥倫比亞大學語言及語言素養教育系終身教授。研究方向包括移民子女跨文化、英語作為第二語言師范教育、全球化背景下的語言政策與實踐等。本書分三大部分,共23章,收錄了作者過去二十多年的學術生涯中發表的精華論文,主要探討了北美的移民學生語言和讀寫教育中的一些常見問題和背后成因,針對移民學生英語教學提出了切實的建議舉措。
